A.C.E has signed a partnership agreement with creative talent house Asian Agent for global strategy and U.S. management. Through the agency contract, the group will be active in various fields including a stellar music collaboration and a fashion endorsement deal that will be coming in 2021.
The agency Asian Agent has previously signed with two powerhouse groups namely Blackpink and (G)I-DLE. They aim to bring forth eastern culture to the west through promotions and strategic partnerships.
Speaking about the partnership, Lee Joon-young, head of the agency Beat Interactive, said, “The great thing about working with Asian Agent is that we can fully plan and implement international strategies”. He further added that working together over the past few months, the interest of global media has already increased along with new music and advertising opportunities.
A.C.E debuted in 2017 with the single “Cactus,” which peaked at No. 21 on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart. The group has since toured the world and released an album namely, A.C.E Adventures in Wonderland in 2018 and three EPs. This includes their 2019 release Under Cover, which debuted at No. 9 on World Albums, follow-up Under Cover: The Mad Squad, and their recent comeback album in September, HJZM: The Butterfly Phantasy.
The members expressed their excitement about the new development. They said, “We’re excited and inspired for this next chapter of our careers, not only to pursue our dreams as a group but to hopefully reach the dreams and expectations so many of our global fans have for us.”
Beat Interactive founder and CEO Kim Hye-im averred that investing in music is crucial amid the global coronavirus pandemic, explaining that, “K-pop artists’ musical activities and outside roles are more important than ever to overcome this difficult situation with a sense of mission. I feel we must continue to give our fans courage and hope to overcome this situation.”
Meanwhile, A.C.E will be delighting fans with some amazing global activities and collaborations in 2021.
