MONSTA X Dominates Tower Records’ Weekly Album Chart

MONSTA X is proving their mettle as a powerhouse group after achieving yet another striking feat!

MONSTA X released their third full-length Japanese album Flavors of love on May 5. Through the album, the group has not only impressed with their versatile tunes but have continued to reign over multiple music charts as well.


At the time of its release, Flavors of love positioned at the No. 1 spot on the Oricon daily album chart.

Continuing this winning streak, Shownu, Kihyun, Minhyuk, Hyungwon, Jooheon and I.M are certainly wearing the crown like the true kings they are as they proved that MONSTA X embodies the terms ‘musical genius’ and ‘global idols’ in the truest sense after taking the first place on the Tower Records Weekly Album Chart (dated May 3-9).

Previously, MONSTA X had ranked on the No.1 spots of the Oricon charts and Tower Records charts with their track “WANTED” that released in March this year.


With this latest feat, the group evince their unstoppable growth and ever-rising popularity as the ultimate global scene-stealers.

Flavors of love features 11 tracks in total including the Japanese versions of their chart-topping hits “Follow”, “FANTASIA”, and “Love Killa”.

Apart from the eponymous lead number, it further includes the tracks titled “Wanted”, “Re:verse Day”, “Diamond Heart”, “Secret”, “Detox”, “Wish On the Same Sky”, and last but not the least, “Neo Universe”.

Meanwhile, MONSTA X will make a comeback next month. The boy group will be back with their ninth mini-album One Of A Kind that is set to release on multiple music sources on June 1.
