MONSTA X = ICONS!
MONSTA X has been appointed as the goodwill ambassadors for the 19th International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC). The conference will be held in South Korea in December.
The International Anti-Corruption Conference is the world’s largest anti-corruption forum held every two years since 1983. The 19th meeting hosted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission and Transparency International will be held as a non-face-to-face video conference.
The National Human Rights Commission of Korea reinforced the fact that MONSTA X have set a mark for themselves as global idols and have been active as promotional ambassadors for SDGs 16, that upholds the goal of peace, justice and strong institutions in the #TOGETHERBAND campaign that supports the UN’s sustainable development goals.
MONSTA X will attend an on-tack online appointment ceremony on the October 23 and they will be receiving a letter of appointment as an honorary ambassador, which will be broadcast live exclusively through the 권익비전 YouTube channel.

MONSTA X who debuted in 2015 with their smashing album Trespass have established themselves as an evolutionary K-pop idol group that has drawn attention around the world through each album that has showcased not only their steady growth but also their unique perspectives, energetic music and powerful performances.
Particularly, with their full-length album ALL ABOUT LUV which released earlier this year, it was ranked third among the top five K-pop artists on the Billboard 200 chart and ranked among the top 10 on a total of seven Billboard charts. Moreover, MONSTA X also became the only K-Pop act to perform at the Time100 Talks event as well.
On being appointed as goodwill ambassadors, MONSTA X, said, “It is a great honor to be selected as goodwill ambassadors for the International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC), which is meaningful worldwide, but since it’s a bit of a heavy title bestowed on us, so we feel more responsible. But it’s a meaningful cause to ensure a bright the future and so we hope our members, Monbebe, our families and everyone around the world will be able to face a happier and more reliable society in the coming years, and we will work hard to promote the good meaning and message of IACC.”
Meanwhile, MONSTA X are all set to make a comeback on November 2 with their third full-length album FATAL LOVE and will further continue their various activities as ambassadors for the International Anti-Corruption Conference.
