Wonho proves his global popularity with his performance on the iTunes charts across the world!
It has been less than a week since its’s release and Wonho’s debut album Love Synonym #1: Right for Me has been showing a remarkable performance on the global iTunes charts. The album ranked first on the Worldwide iTunes Albums chart in multiple countries including U.S, UK, India, Germany, France, Canada, Australia and Brazil with his debut album within a day of release.
Additionally, it also placed at No. 1 in 20 countries around the world, including the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Switzerland, Italy and Canada on the iTunes Top K-POP Albums Chart and 10 other regions including Taiwan, Vietnam, Singapore, Mexico, Japan, and Hong Kong.
Previously, the singer’s prepossessing pre-release single “Losing You” had hit No. 1 on iTunes Top K-Pop Songs charts in at least 16 different countries across the globe, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, France, Singapore, Malaysia, Peru, Chile, Poland, Romania, Switzerland, Spain, Norway, New Zealand, Mexico, and Austria. The song also made it into the top 10 in 14 regions, including Canada, Italy, Hong Kong, Turkey, Germany, Brazil, and the Netherlands. “Losing You” also hit No. 20 on iTunes’ overall Top Songs chart in the United States.
Wonho’s first mini-album released on September 4 and impressed listeners with its diverse musical styles that showcased the vocalist’s wide range of musical spectra. The album’s lead track “Open Mind” also left quite the impression on fans with its heart thumping electro pop, heavy bass beats as well.
